Steven asks…Are air rifle scopes actually special?I want to put a cheapo $40 large objective scope on my break barrel air rifle. I know apparently air rifles kick forward, but i can't see any scope being damaged by the virtually non-existent recoil. Just setting it down could be more forward recoil then when fireing it.
