Other sellers states that this rifle shoots at 500 FPS and we know it doesn't shoot 500 FPS. Based on the weight of the bbs and the environment it shoots from 420-450 FPS. You can mount any scope on this rifle's metal rail. We have been playing with this rifle for 5 years now and wouldn't recommend spending more money on scope.
